Currency converter uses cross rates to deliver other currencies values, which means you can calculate the values of the EUR (Euro) and USD (United States Dollar) to any other currency. Currency codes are standardized by ISO 4217:2015 and represented by three-letter alphabetic code followed by the full name of the currency.
When you send or receive an international transfer with your bank, you might lose money on a bad exchange rate and pay hidden fees as a result.
This is because banks hide a fee in the exchange rate, which means that you will spend more on international money transfers than you should.
We recommend using Wise (formerly TransferWise) which is often cheaper. For example, a 500 USD to EUR transfer could be up to 70% cheaper with Wise versus select providers*.

Cross Currency Rates Calculation
Currency Exchange Cross Rates are the calculated values for two currencies neither of which is the domestic currency of the country for which the quote is obtained.
For example, in the United States a cross rate will be any rate between two currencies different from the U.S. Dollar.
